@biskus Im new to this. Do people ask for a raise or just leave for a job tgat pays 1k more?

all you need to know is that its around 10 times more expensive for a company to hire a new employee, compared to keeping an existing. ofcourse it depends on how valuable you actually are to the company. I dont know your situation, but alot of young people early in their careers can go underpaid for years in this business. so basically ask yourself this question: how fucked are they if you resign tomorrow? if the answer is "very", its probably time to ask for a raise 😎
