Lot of people have misconception about ram improving performance. If you don't have enough appetite you don't eat more. Same way processor and ram must be in absolute harmony. Having said all this if you are using Windows ignore everything I said and cry.

I just upgraded to 16 Gb this morning and it's fantastic😍 Took a break and played some rocket league but forgot to close my virtual machine in advance. Normally this would bring my computer to a grinding halt but not anymore!!
