Haha. Yeah threaten to fork my repo and make it more popular than it already is because I won't add a clearly out of scope feature.

I'll wait.

Isn't that the whole point of forking in the first place?

Only response to that is, "are you offering to contribute? If not fuck awf"

@ilPinguino Yes. But using it as a threat as though it's somehow leverage is hilariously childish.

    Did that person forgot:
    - you don't owe them anything,
    - they can sponsor you, be your patreon, buy you a coffee or simply donate (or whatever way they can financially support you),
    - submit a PR,
    - they can simply fork your repo which will never be more visible then your repo (just like most forks of repos)?

Wait wtf. Links please. I wanna laugh as well.

@3rdWorldPoison I try not to cross post to my socials from dR ;)

@Berkmann18 Yes they forgot all of those things. The issue even had a PR that the author closed without explanation (so it becomes legal grey area and thus I've learned not to touch them) and I advised all of the people complaining that a PR would be simple and most of the work will have been demonstrated already (and it's a dumb, stupid easy thing) - moreover, that I've already approved the changes.

Just typical people wanting something for nothing in OSS because they're incapable of doing it themselves.

@junon I see, just a bunch of pesky people which reminds me of https://twitter.com/youyuxi/status/... which I think should be a thing.

So they are willing to fork your repo and add it themselves(?) but not willing to just open a PR?

@FinlayDaG33k Empty threats. As if forking will depreciate the value of original project.

@Berkmann18 Don't know if that's a good idea. Just because I've seen very active communities with good userbases that might not want to become sponsors. However, as a toggleable switch per project sounds promising.

@3rdWorldPoison Tbh, I would still want the status quo on this but with the ability of having issues made by sponsors being prioritised over others.
I mean some users are good and who understand things I highlighted in my first comment, but that's not always the case.

@dUcKtYpEd Good job, you missed the point entirely. Also why are you scouring my profile directly after calling me a pussy? Mad sus bro.
