I run a small internal dashboard for my company. One of the big parts of this workflow is collecting data from various sources, so I can start using it. I collect it all to sql db so its in one place.
What is this called? Should this be a different job role, not the developers?

    Data warehousing, all Corpo's that I work with have contacts with these companies whose only responsibility is tracking, logging, doing stats and stuff like that with data.
    One example is SAP Data Warehouse... They're garbage though
