Anyone else who's given up entirely on bloated desktop music players to play their mp3/flac files and ends up using cmus in the terminal?

    Ehhh, don't do that. Instead, improve the situation! Take a solid base and develop a working gui for it. Don't flee into the terminal, fight the bad GUIs!

    When I have the choice I use mocp for my music: curses based interface; filesystem based library; scriptable; it's about perfect for my needs.

    @tild3 Linux man, Linux (and sometimes Mac when I can't avoid it -_-'). When I was still using Win I was with you; Foobar2K all the way.

    Just VLC works fine for me :)
