I'm thirteen (about to turn 14) and I've been coding for a year. I tried coding back when I was 11, it didn't work out. Over the past year, I've really got a hold of programming. I made a few websites, and I'm making a 3D game right now (started yesterday) with no frameworks in HTML5 canvas. After that I plan on moving to Java. Sometimes I wish I wasn't self-taught, but I think it makes a better problem solver.

@calmyourtities We are all self thought. School only points you at a good starting point. The only things school taught me were design paterns The rest i learnt from working with other developers.

Epic start to your career! Keep it up..

I started messing around with DOS shell scripting when I was about 10 or 11, after which the next couple years were a blur of different scripting style languages like JS and PHP (still version 4 when I found it). Either way, it's been fun.
