I <strike>heart</strike> wordstress... how many times do I have to add </>!important</> after an attribute to get a simple style to take?

If you need to use !important, then you aren't being specific enough. And that has nothing to do with WordPress and everything to do with your code.

If you have to use !important, you're doing it wrong.

@SirusAmory I guess you didn't get my rant. I WAS complaining about WordPress. I would never write a theme as poor as the ones I have to put important in. All my themes ARE specific divs. So I apologize in advance for ranting on you but you obviously want to blame the poor css on someone other than WP.

@rayanon You are wrong. I am doing it right. the theme is designed to not be styler friendly. Sorry but you are commenting about the wrong thing.

I'm sorry but the WORDPRESS THEME is not Wordpress. It's something that another person has created to sit on top of wordpress.

Do not blame an entire platform for the actions of a few individuals that don't know what they're doing.
