Atom editor is not great yet but devs already switches to VScode. Looks familiar? Poor web developers...

    I havent really messed with vs code been using webstorm but my student license is finally going to expire and have been debating atom or vscode. Used atom lots. Anything odd ?

    @BirdLawExpert if you're not too attached to atom, give vs code a try it's hugely useful. Also reserve some time for finding and installing necessary extensions (I've looked over the Internet for "most useful vs code extensions)

    VSCode is much faster and smoother on Windows compared to atom. Atom has been getting progressively slower (they're both on Electron lolol). For mac, I can't say, I've only used atom on there and that was in its early days

    @Mayhem93 thanks :) i downloaded it last night but fell asleep at the desk before i could really get into it im going to mess about today and take a look at some extensions

    I use VSCode occasionally. Before that I used either Notepad or Brackets. Brackets became shit. Atom has always been shit, for the reasons mentioned above.
