Wow $50 a month for LinkedIn premium.... What a joke?

Signed up for trial just to msg some ppl at Google and Microsoft... Including Nadella.... No reply but still.... Wow.... Why the fuck would anyone pay for this stuff other than recruiters...

Is this some sort of status symbol?

    @mysth how do you teach out to them though, just direct message (thought u need in mail for that?) or in groups?

    My LinkedIn account is sorta dormant like my Twitter account, only use really to try to reach a company to complain about something they did...

    @mysth ok so do need to have some shared interests. I remember you can't just connect with anyone either. Only ur friends friend I think? but guess that's why you need to grow ur network.

    And guess Inmail isn't worth it, can't tell those power users. So maybe premium status is more like ppl shouldn't bother reaching ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    I had a free trial while in college and it was literally pointless it basically does nothing. Only reason I'd use linkedin premium if offered to me for free again by a university or job.

    I'd completely forgotten about LinkedIn... Wonder how many recruitment messages are in my mailbox now.
