For goodness fucking sake Microsoft. Stop doing everything possible to get me to use Edge Browser.
Since building my new computer I've had edge recommended in the notification center, lock screen, start screen, emails, and now on my fucking taskbar.

Seriously what the hell is wrong with them, I DONT WANT TO USE THEIR SHITTY BROWSER. I wont use their shitty browser so stop recommending it to me. I'm already invested In Google services so stop trying to push your own on me.

Honest to God what do the higher ups at Microsoft do with their time? Sit around a table figuring out how to get people to use their default apps?

3 days ago I made another rant about how Microsoft keeps trying to get me to use edge.... Disabled start menu suggestions and now this bullshit happens.

☺ everyone tries to push their products. I can assure you that with google it's the same every time i access gmail with a browser different from Chrome, i get this massage telling me how fast and better their browser is. No matter how many times i've dismissed it pressing the "no, thanks button", it keeps surfacing

Edge is not bad at all, to be honest. Chrome is just a memory hog... so they say. But everyone know that Vivaldi is the best browser. :)

@ste09 Good point, The only difference is that Chrome, Gmail and what not is free. So self advertising is a little more acceptable. But when you pay over $100 for Windows 10 Professional, its just annoying.

Hmm... I have used Windows 10 since it came out and had edge advertised to me only once. Wonder why some are targeted more than others.

@Xunie I like a lot of the functionality windows 10 has, the overall UI/UX is much nicer over w7 and in general I'm the type of person that likes to have the "Latest and greatest" that an OS has to offer.
Plus I bought a USB install disk for W10 not 7...

@WerewolfCustoms Vivaldi and opera neon are by far the coolest browsers I have ever used. Vivaldi is my daily driver.

....Qutebrowser. And then Firefox. Never again, Google and Microsoft.

I wonder if Vivaldi has some kind of vimperator? If it does I'd be willing to try it. I like Opera I'm the olden days.

Vivaldi is cool and all but it feels quite laggy to me compared to chrome.
About every half year I try using Firefox, Vivaldi and others but I usually just end up back on chrome because it just works so well.

I think MS has their eyes up their to not see edge is an unstable piece of shit. It's unfinished and that's so obvious in the ux.
