Don’t get me wrong. They are beneficial if done right, that is, they are not forced and scheduled, else they’re awkward and and a waste of my time.

Most of them are forced. Never have I worked at a company where these meetings are done right.

Shit, 1 on 1 is when things get done.

I stopped doing 1 on 1s with my dev team because I would ask them what they wanted to talk about.
