    Have to: nope.
    Choose to: generally nope.

I will if I'm experimenting with something new or there's a major prod issue that's slipped through.
beyond that though, weekends are for me not work.

By work requirements: yes. By my own volition? sometimes yes. I keep myself sharp by fucking around with things that interest me.

Work related stuff is really no issue for me, as I am getting paid, it would be way different if I were not, but generally even if it disturbs my weekends I get to take time off from work afterwards.

No one has to code ever if they don't want to

I wish so bad to. Too many fatherly responsibilities. Just want to deploy my project. 😢

When I do, I usually give up easier

What else that I supposed to do?

Do I have to? No (except when I was freelancing [on the side]).
Do I do that? Yes, almost always (except for work which is never, apart from freelancing).

    Depends, but usually yes.

As a freelancer I'm likely to be working weekends, but I'm also likely to take a 4 hour nap on a random Tuesday.

Nights and weekends. Basically I live at my desk. After dealing with clients all day nights and weekends are the only time I have interrupted time to get into flow.

I try to code a bit of work stuff on the weekend if I'm behind but I'm feeling really burnt out recently if I'm being honest.

I used to, but not doing so increases my productivity on business days
