I think I have a "Slack" syndrome. Sometimes, I hear the notification sound even when there is no notification...

My last job was so intense that I always heard notification sounds and felt my phone vibrating.

Since when it is called a "slack" syndrome?

There was a time when I was hearing "Hey! Listen!" everytime, everywhere. Those were good times.

i sometimes hallucinate my skype ringing when i'm on number two.

Gajim (XMPP client) has a notification sound that I mishear in a few songs every time.

For me it's both, Skype and Slack

PTSD for me it skype.. That ringing tone is the worst

This is a know problem with elevated anxiety levels in high stress jobs.

I used to hear my office's phone ring EVERYWHERE, no matter if I was at the office, at home or outside in a park with no phones around.
My doc said I had a burnout, had to stay at home for over a month to recover. Also took another job soon afterwards.
