when you're reading an article on a site and a big pop up shows with no way out. then you don't know where is the thing you're reading so u just close the tab. that's productivity.

Happens to me often. I was always for not placing popups at web at all. I am like 3 seconds on your website and you want me to subscribe to some fucking newsletter? NO WAY!! Those things are just dumb.

At least google is going to put websites with popups lower in organic search.
