Everybody is hating every language :/

@runfrodorun Give me only one reason why C# is worse than Java?
And why do you think C# is terrible in first place? Because you don't indent code to create blocks? Or you don't end up in dependency hell?

@tahnik No so long as humans get in the way

@tahnik both java and c# are great languages.
Actually there is no alternative to Java/C# if you want that level of cross platform and speed of development and exexution.

The only thing is that you left out Visual J++ and J# which is actually microsofts aproach on Java. VJ++ is a full Java interpreter and J# is based on it to get Java developers into the .Net world and make the switch to C# easier.
J++ was even fully licensed back in 1995

Well so it goes. I have never seen proper Java code in my life. But I have to admit that I haven't looked at Java or c# for about 3 years.

@runfrodorun Just because you never watched a good movie, it doesn't mean there are no good movies out there!
Do your corporate customers even know they should pay a crap load of money to Oracle just for running software written in Java?
