An notice of termination is an one way binding legal contract. That means the moment they receive it, it is binding. Registred mail is used for this, because then they need to proof that they didnt receive it.if you set the last working day to an date where they just received it, they cant do anything against it. But Its better to document the hell out of it to avoid any potential legal hole in your defense.
