I try to do my work and shut up about it but it is true; work sucks the life out of your soul slowly, everyday.

It isn't that hard if you like coding, work on a project you deem useful and your workplace isn't toxic.
You still don't have the urge to also code in your free time when you did it all day on the job though.

But it doesn't suck the life out of you - just all the mana...

@GyroGearloose Not really no. I yet have to figure out if it's toxic or not. We'll see.

@Oktokolo I like coding but I don't like coding for someone else. And work is work, you know. It does not come with coding alone. There's the meetings, the politics, the management, ...

I feel screwed more when I pay company taxes.
Work is fine as long as you don’t have to give 1/3rd of your money for unfulfilled promises.
I’d rather give that money to some witch or fairy.

this makes me sad because i can relate.
