Do you have a db specialist in teams? I often see frontend & backend ranting but no db Devs. Isn't that role so crucial as one lost index can cause massive performance drops?

My db is not small but not very big too, around 20 gigs. Most of it are audits of any change in system. We once had issue when page was loading for user in 30s and when I've added index time dropped to 3s. This is why I think db has to be designed well and someone should specialize in dba. @DevotedSniper
