This is fairly common usage of "vim", at least in my experience

I dont know which vim you talk about and what is the usecase of it, but for file editing in linux I use nano, and its fairly ok for my needs, I have tried vim but when I have to read a book to learn to use a file editor, than its already a red flag for me.

purist12004y@blindXfish You generally wont have to read a book to use it. But yeah the shortcuts are not obvious to end users. But once we get used to the basic shortcuts, vim is bearable.
Also vim requires us to understand that there are 2 very different modes ( insert and normal ). I see a lot of people struggle here. Once past this, everything else is easily navigatable. -
I get, that you really need the points for premium. But please show at least some minimum effort next time.
