    As long as you don't have to explain it to most of your user base it's good.

    Also some UI patterns take time to become familiar. Doesn't mean they are bad
    Nowadays we have the hamburger/3dots menu icons on limited screens. When they where introduced a lot of people didn't know them. I had to explain them a lot.
