    @COD4 12 is crazy man.., i'm not even a lead or a manager but having that much of meetings is really a waste of time

    @GudLilDev those are some rookie numbers.

    @C0D4 ah! a competitor. Our battle would be legendary.

    @GudLilDev
    most of my meetings are just "run it by @C0D4 and see what would break" kind of things, down side to being the last original dev on the team.

    but yea over half my week is chewed up in meetings or call or anything other then pumping out code, i kind of miss the days of pushing a feature out in a day or two and moving on to the next one.

    It's at that point I track my time just to be sure it's not just me thinking I'm not getting much down anymore 🙁

    @Floydimus, Challange Accepted 😆

    @C0D4 I need to start doing this.
    I have 2-4 meetings a day, and each one eats at least half an hour more in lost productivity.

    Two one-hour meetings means three hours of possible productivity gone, and they’re usually spaced 30-60 minutes apart, so i get practically nothing done until they’re all over — and by then I’ve lost my motivation and energy.

    It’s stupid.
    And they’re not even interested in anything I have to say, I just need to be a face on a screen.

    Ugh.

    Oh yeah well I had one meeting per week take that rookies. Meetings are stupid. They’re set up by assholes who are bored and have no lives. Lol let’s get together bc HR managers (worthless remedial pigs) want to talk about the button on the registration page that a monkey can implement for an hr while wasting time of people like us who do actual work! Let’s have an urgent meeting for the easiest crap I can do while drunk of my ass which I am right now!! Lol!!EVERYBODY POOPS 🦍💩🐒💩🦒💩🐐💩🧛‍♀️💩 🐐💩🐐💩🐐💩🐐💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩💩🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐💩💩💩💩💩💩💩

    The funny thing is we had a daily meeting at the end of the day to talk about what we have done.

    So yeah i could've just said

    "not much update from me cause i've been doing some repetitive nonsense meeting shit that we probably gonna talk it over again because now we have the client joining, so yeah let me show you the same shit AGAIN"

    @Root I put in a 12 hour day after a 10 hour day to finish a feature despite feeling like I got run over by a truck both days. Seriously: had trouble breathing, was exhausted, weak, tingly, could barely focus or stay awake, reading was difficult. This lasted the entire day. But I managed to get everything done.

    And then they completely forgot about me during standup, and my efforts went largely unnoticed. My boss’s reaction reminded me of Wheatley nonchalantly saying “Oh, you made it? Good. Good for you.”

    -.-
