Recently I've been procrastinating a hell lot by watching random youtube videos, so I made a little Chrome extension to keep me focused. I personally find it quite fun.

Crowwwww is an extension that helps you to stay focused. Whenever you go on a work-irrelevant site like youtube or reddit, a very judgmental-looking crow will appear on the screen and stare into your soul, forcing you to reconsider your life choices and go back to work.

(whitelisted sites are configurable of course)

I love how you have to whitelist sites. Because 99% of the internet won't be your work.

@nitwhiz There are times when I have to go on a site/blog I've never heard before for work purposes (like fixing a weird environment error or something). I don't think whitelisting all of them would be feasible ;)

As others say. Consider a blacklist instead :)

I'd just find myself trying to out stare the crow 😳

So basically you procrastinated by creating a chrome extension which led to not being procrastinating.

WTF, this is a bedtime paradox...
(If you don't get it, it's a reference to a popular web comic)

@rhl2401 no, i was totally serious. Whitelisting is absolutely correct. If you're not working on a porn website, at least 70% of the internet is not your work. So whitelisting it is.

@nitwhiz fair enough, but I'm not sure I agree. I find information on several different websites but procrastination tend to be only YouTube, news, some what Facebook and devRant (which obviously is nescessary)

I love how you did your procastination problem by procastinating on work to make a extension for this

I on notice for resigning. Can we reprogram this to show the crow when I use a work site instead?
