It should be completely acceptable to not have your picture taken or spread through the internet.

I'd love a feature in Facebook / Instagram that uses face recognition to forbid people from uploading my photos if I want to. It should be required by law on all social media.

    Let me complete. That would require a lot of your photos in FB servers to train the mod. Although few photos of you are not spread around internet, you will have give to FB many more photos of you.

    OP is OK with FB/Insta whatever to process his images, which he uploaded willingly. But block upload by other people.

    Kind of Makes sens.

    Should be easy to do. Just claim copyright on your face. Then legistlators will do everything you desire.

    It is all fine until that random guy from 4chan starts uploading the Tiananmen Tank Man and faces of every celebrity he knows - making the algorithm to censor the hell out of that site.
