drego3063y@N00bPancakes I'm afraid your issue is just a classic urgent so not able to look into it just yet, maybe if you submit a ticket, then email me to let me know that you've submit a ticket (with the high importance flag ofc), then give me a call just to let me know about the email that you sent me regarding your urgent ticket and then for good measure, contact one of my colleagues to get them to ask me when I will look at your urgent ticket, then I might be able to move it lower on the list 😂😂

At this point for my 'can't get feedback' issue... ticket/task closed. They can rerequest everything all over again and start at step 1 as far as I'm concerned. -

Where I work, level of urgency is measured by the level of annoyance you create. Welp. -
realngnx1463yIt annoys me everyday at my company, everything for they is urgent, so must be prioritized and they get angry when the time estimation fails because of context switch.
I like to say whenever I can that when everything is urgent, nothing is really urgent. 🤷♂️ -

C0D4681463yEverything's urgent, until I haven't heard about it for a week, then it's trivial again.

1. Every time you do a task, write a description of it.
2. Add a guestimate
3. Repeat until you have enough data
4. Categorize tasks by length of description vs time estimate
5. For each category figure out average range (min, and max) for actual completion versus estimated completion.
6. Write tool that takes in new task descriptions, uses old data to give you accurate estimates based on average guess-to-actual completion time.
7. Once each new task is complete, tool should take new data and roll it into existing statistics, updating your profile to reflect your performance.
Overtime you can stop estimating entirely because the system will become "good enough" at estimating how long you will take for a given task (based on description length or keywords).
You could even include "percentage chance" ranges of estimates (best and worst case for each category of task).
Step 9. Never fuck with estimates again.
Step 10. Just for completion, or ocd will kill me.
