    @MadMadMadMrMim I HAVEN'T EVEN COMMENTED ON THIS RANT!

    also, I am actually using python since last year. I like ruby sintax better tho.

    @mundo03 who the fuck likes ruby ??? LOL
  • 2
    @mundo03 isn't ruby weird?
  • 2
    Congratulations, and beware the Dunning-Kruger effect
  • 1
    @iiii not at all, it makes so much sense.
    Everything is easy in ruby, easy ti code easy to mantain.

    Why do you think it is weird?
  • 2
    @mundo03 the syntax is weird
  • 2
    @iiii well depends of what you are used to I guess.

    Once get pass the weird period and get used to it, you'll notice hoe easy things are.

    For instance, python vs ruby I think some things in python don't make sense

    Like len(obj) on python vs obj.size or obj.lenght

    Or looping an array
    For item in arr: #python
    pass

    Arr.each do |item|
    end

    Or

    Arr.each {|item| }

    If you are comparing to JavaScript then the weird one is JavaScript.

    @mundo03 the loop thing in ruby is definitely weird and unintuitive

    @iiii also I forgot to mention, ruby seems to be the benchmark of dev friendly syntax, i have read languages like Rust, Go and Julia to be described as something close to "Powerful for X purpose and Y features with easy ruby like syntax"

    I intend to learn Rust, maybe this year, and have Go in the backlog fro about 3 years now :(

    @rEaL-jAsE it’s a fairly big company so I’m starting with C# and cloud but could move on to C++ and Hardware after a year if I wanted to
