Do people with brand new phones and no case radiate arrogance?

I wish phones just had rubber side bumpers to make them easier to hold.

    That's all I want.

Beyond that I'll take my chances.

I've gone three and a half years without a case for my Galaxy S8. The corners are a bit scratched up but otherwise it's fine.

    What? Why?

I am planning to buy a new phone after 5+ years and have no plan to put a screen guard or cover on it. Been using my phone without any protection (LOL) for 3+ years now and not a single scratch anywhere.

    Why?

    Not to me, no.
When I get a new phone I usually get a screen protector because it has to remain perfect until the phase of "oo shiny new phone" goes away and I stop caring.

@Floydimus do you even use the phone then ? 😂 .
I mean I used my last phone naked for 1.5years and it's screen got broken and scratches were here and there LOL. Let me know your secret 😂

@spantheslayer none of my phones got damaged before I've passed them to someone else. And none had any protection.

Maybe companies who produce phone that can't hold up to their day to day (ab)use radiate arrogance

@spantheslayer just because my phone does not have any scratches mean I do not use it. 🙈

Secret is be careful how you use stuff.

@Lennerd or maybe people regard their phones too much as an expendable resource rather than a highly advanced piece of technology which requires an insane amount of science and a lot of various rare resources to produce.

"Oh, ha-ha, I've bent my assPhone with my fat ass. I guess, I'll just buy a new assPhone XXX later today"
