The Windows 11 keynote was such a load of bullshit. All the emo yadda yadda. You know, when I work on Windows, what I feel is irritation, anger, and despise for the amateur shitshow that Microsoft delivers.

In particular, but not limited to the fucking update reboots where Windows sits there uselessly and shells fucking prawns in its own ass!

Oh we now have semi-transparent shit. That's progress! It's so great! Only that it's not because already Windows Vista had Aero Glass, and Windows 8 removed it.

But we we have fucking rounded corners now! Crazy shit, some intern at Microsoft discovered border-radius, or did they dig out some fucking Windows XP copy? That also had rounded corners way before Apple even invented them!

To top it off, Microsoft even failed to deliver the livestream seamlessly and recommended watching it at Twitter. Yeah, that's the fucking "Windows experience" as we know it, you clowns!

My favourite BS quote from Nadella himself: "the web itself was born and grew up on Windows." That guy is so full of shit that an unmaintained latrine in rural India would be envious!

I was going to counter your post but then I read the last line and realised you speak the truth. 😂😂

    That last line is gold.

"some intern discovered border-radius" broooooooo you had me dead with that, and the last lines were *cheffs kiss très magnifique

He spoke the truth. If there was no internet explorer there would be half amount of web developers required so internet GDP wouldn’t be a thing.

Microsoft is literally giving people jobs by making crap software and all they do is complaining instead of Thanking them for their service over the years.

I couldn't agree more. In former times, Windows was just plain shit that you could ignore, but now it's Microsoft-I'll-control-your-life-Office365-OneDrive-Azure-Shit that will destroy you if you don't destroy it.

@grumpyoldfart As much as I enjoyed Win 7, I'm happy that I migrated back to Linux - only that this time, I even took most of my family non-IT end users with me. The others are on their own because I don't care.

Btw., in that video, the only person who didn't come across as completely fucked up was the gamer girl, but then again, she had the easiest part because starting games is about the only thing that Windows is useful for.

I also wonder where MS finds such awful persons. The most disgusting was the emo whiner guy in the beginning, but the blonde Karen was a close follow-up because her nauseating voice would have spiders drop down dead from the ceiling.

@Fast-Nop true, I loved Win 7 as I grew up in a gruesome Win 3.1/OS 2 world with AIX (on 6150, RS/6000 and PC being the only alternative for development that I love until today, but couldn't use for office and the usual Word/Powerpoint shit). Back then, Windows 7 was a short period of hope for a useful desktop OS.

I started to hate Windows when they, between Winfuck 8 and Winkack 10, obviously lost the plan what they wanted to be - a phone- (now dead), tablet- or PC-operating system. I don't need my fucking 40" 4K screen when Windows believes that a stupid settings panel should use half of the screen real estate so an Orang Utan still could swipe with his whole paw while reality is that I'm using a mouse like since 30 yrs. And I don't start to rant about the people they use as frontfreaks, because they obviously are optimized to attract sales and marketing scum, i.e. the lowest lifeforms on the planet.

I somehow made it through the most boring keynote in history.

Felt like an Apple keynote without the hype and just a dragged out bore, if I hear someone say it's fucking beautiful and clean again 🤮

Here's a drinking game for anyone yet to watch it, "it's beautiful" = 1 shot 😏

Interestingly, there wasn't a single new feature outside of "we made everything look like it's on a sheet of glass" and bound to shatter.
