My director has started a new thing. We all have to tell what we did the previous day, what we are planning to do in the current day and if there are any blockers.

Good thing, right?

The only thing is that all these things are already plotted on the sprint board. It’s right fucking there in front of our eyes.

So what do we do? Just reiterate what is already written there. Fuck my productive life.

    Welcome to Scrum Agile!
A place where the meeting are more important then actually doing anything!

    Welcome to corporate hell.

Please sit down, take notes and hate the ride like the rest of us!

Hmm i actually like the daily standups as noone really cares to document anything in the board. Yeah, i know.

It's for people like me who only updates the board during daily stand-up 😂

Not everything is on the board though! Sometimes tasks get stuck, people get blocked and communication fails.

Daily syncs should only take about 15 minute tops and should give everyone an opportunity to mention important deviations from the planned sprint if needed

Dude I don't like it too, but it is a good way to update the entire team. When is just 15minutes it's okay. Worse than it are the 1 a 1 or meeting to ask small things (use the f#@& text)
