How does everyone stop themselves getting headaches from staring at a screen everyday, all day? Migraines run in my family, so when I get a headache it's always a migraine. When I get one it stops me dead. I'm unable to do anything until it goes away. My best cure right now is excederin. It works great but I want to see what you guys have to say.

..and it won't matter you have a migraine or not. You won't be able to do anything! @KalmyK

    Grow some glasses

Migraines also run in my family and the only thing that truly helps us is a strong pill and a nap or just sitting in the dark for an hour as all the lights just make it worse.

Do you log what you eat via MyFitnessPal or similar. Not for Calories but it might be a type or volume of food that triggers them. If you find a pattern of three Red Bull and one Hot Pocket is a migraine day, try switching something out next time to see if it changes the results.

Dark color schemes. Bright screens all day are like staring into a 60W bulb.
Also, make sure you have enough lighting that the dark screen doesn't appear bright, keeping in mind to make you are still comfortable vis-a-vis light and migraines.

You ought to go to the optometrist...I was getting the same thing, then got glasses and everything was right again...Then I lost them and now I am suffering like you again

I use the cheapest gunnar glasses at home since 2 years and I noticed a real difference, almost no more burning eyes and headache

Blue light blocking computer glasses... weed... and enough excedrine so my blood stays thin... like butter spread over too much bread.
