Does it work with wine or does it use some special hardware?

@stop Affinity Suite & Visual studio. I've tried affinity, but wine just crashes after running the (Already installed!) binary, and I haven't tested VS seeing as I use it rarely.

Hopefully(!!!!!!) I'll be able to get it into a repair shop by next week. Oh well, at least linux looks pretty.

both programs are not good with wine so you need either a vm or a second partition. For simple stuff an vm is better, but for everything else i recommend dualboot with systemd-boot/gummiboot, because it does not break so easy when windows replaced the efi-bootloader

That's why you do separate operating systems on separate drives.

@iiii Zero idea. Thinking that windows doesn't like GNU GRUB at all, and throws a 0xc000021a BSOD on every bootup. Can't get in at the system recovery page because it requires a password I've forgot

uefi gets rid of a alot of the windows bootloader bullshit, are you running in legacy ? are you using grub 2 ?

if so you can run off a usb stick, mount the partition and run the grubconfigger thingamajig to rewrite the stuffs.

If you moved Windows or resized the windows C partition outside Windows that might be the reason. Windows makes some bullshit unmovable blocks that is only detected by Windows disk resizer. Also the windows bootloader only seems to function when c is first partition of the disk.

Put windows in a VM, install an extra graphics card, GPU passthru, dedicated monitor. Run both OS together
