Why is it whenever something's incredibly urgent, everything goes wrong?

Cause you overlook the details

By nature, people stress or don't keep claim when shit hits the fan. That's when we intent to forget to pay attention to details.

In this case we needed to put out an immediate hotfix, and suddenly the production release of the launcher could no longer detect if the game was installed.

No code changes + unrelated urgent fix required -> broken launcher! 😣

Never did figure out why it wasn't working.

@Ashkin I was given a poor excuse of a spec 3 weeks ago for something that was sold last year and everything has gone wrong developing it. It needs to be installed now 😅

@Ashkin is how our poor excuse of a company works... maximum features and minimal time. On a positive note I get to develop new and interesting things all the time.
