I hate being micromanaged. It kills my productivity.

    I hate management in general. Just give me my task, roughly tell me when I need to be done and don't expect to hear from me until then

    @12bitfloat I used to work in a place like that, sadly I didn't appreciate what I had.

    We are doing scrums once per day. I like it as I can get feedback on my direction each morning. It has also helped resolve priorities. By going over what I must do I pick and choose biggest bang for the buck. Thinking out loud has been helpful. My fellow dev ducks...I mean humans are very helpful this way.

    @Demolishun I think that's called coordination. And it's different than micromanaging. I really like to keep communications open, review what needs to be changed or a how to adjust directions. That's really not what I'm talking about here.
