Got my first soldering project working. Looks trash and horribly done but it does power the RPI from my 3d printers power supply using a buck converter to drop the voltage

Thankfully I got 2 pack of the usb c breakout boards. The first attempt is horribly mangled 😅😅😅 did i mention i suck. Lol

Nice.. by the way what's the module you are soldering?

Ah it looks fine, no worries there as long as you don't apply too much mechanical force

I'd put a shrink tube around it though

@ilechuks73 I cut the cable long cause I don't know how i'm gonna route it yet once i figure out where it's gonna sit i'm gonna shorten it, the buck converter has terminals so shortening the cable would be easier than soldering longer cables if i did it too short

@johnmelodyme i'm new to this so not sure what you mean by module but I got a USB-C breakout board off amazon and am just soldering power to it since it's literally just needed to power the pi and not transfer data
