Me: tells computer to restart

Linux: immediately boots down and started back up

Windows: CaNnOt ReStArT bEcAuSe BaCkGrOuNd SyNc Is RuNnInG

    windows: uses hammer repeatedly to get it to shut down

    And then it asks to restart now or cancel. You press cancel and it restarts anyway

    Windows be like "update and shutdown" or "update and restart" :)

    I find it useful. Sometimes I shutdown having some unsaved work, so I cancel, save the work and shutdown again. Something I don't care about is preventing shutdown? "Shutdown anyway."

    Let's not just bash for no reason.

    Afterthought: I forgot this is devRant. All aboard the Windows Hate train choo choo

    Meanwhile Ubuntu keeps giving me obnoxious update popups and the updates fail ca. half the time if the dialog is confirmed.
