Wasted all day finding a gaming monitor.
Any suggestions?
IPS, 144hz, 2k resolution :|

By "2K" do you mean "1080p" or "1440p"?

Anyway, unless you really need a new monitor, I'd hold off until someone comes forward with a zero dead/bright pixel policy - because I'm suffering from that right now.

I had good success with a local shop's own brand. Cheap, which shows, but the panel is decent. And that's what matters. I would avoid curved panels.

    BenQ's one are very good

Cheep, so it's easy to replace when a keyboard is sticking out of it.

Time spent doing something you enjoy is not wasted.

I really like mine, but the OSD menu sucks and it has some infuriating input switching problems. Really nice besides those flaws. I did a lot of research on displays with the same specs you’re looking for, and this one was the best I could find — and I found it on sale!

Dell 2560x1440, 144hz, overclockable to 165hz. Good colors, with very little bleed or bloom; good dpi; has a micro bezel; good response rate; and has the typical (very nice) adjustable dell stand. I use two of them.

I don’t remember the name or model right off, though. And I’m currently too sick to get out of bed and look. Mention me if you’re interested and I’ll look tomorrow, k?

Edit: I don’t remember if it’s IPS or TN. TN’s are generally better for gaming, though: better response rate, less ghosting, less smearing. (Unless you play horror games; the banding on TN’s totally ruin those.)

Got 27" inch,1440p, 165hz, IPS panel, 1ms response time. Hoping it won't come with dead pixels or ghosting problems ;__; Thanks 😐
