atheist99028yGiven they have kinda crappy gpu's isn't this about the same as running native? I have a £2.5k mac book for work. It's hardware is... Not what I would expect? Let's leave it at that.

Minnow27828y@alwaysmpe The VM on my Blade is definitely faster and better than my old laptop (mid 2010 MBP), but I just wish I could use Autodesk Graphic or view my sketches in the Notes app

DRHAX3414498yWhen using the Mac in a VM, in this case, vmware, it can't use GLX acceleration. It uses Apple Software Renderer.

Minnow27828y@DRHAX34 Oh okay, thanks! I noticed it said “Apple Renderer” when I ran glviewer but I didn’t know how important that was. I wish I knew enough about graphics stuff to somehow fix it, if it can even be fixed...

DRHAX3414498y@Minnow i don't think it can be fixed. Apple does not authorize any vm vendor to make a VM Graphics Driver.

I was so close to getting my macOS virtual machine fully working on my Razer Blade... But then I discovered that something with OpenGL/GLX doesn’t work properly, so I can’t use any graphics-heavy applications until I somehow figure out what’s wrong 😞
