Well, not cinematic quality.

But the Stockholm-syndromey consent violation fetish, with all its voyeuristic softporn notes, is attractive. From rapey vampire dramas to harlequin novels to The Handmaid's Tale, there has always been a demand for the stuff.

It's kind of the "femine" analogue to the "masculine" trope of superhero/mechrobot destroying half a city.

It's cinematic trash, and both rape porn and genocide destruction porn fetishes have a satisfying edge because your brain years for ridiculously unethical stuff as a method to discover boundaries in "simulation mode".

I think liking those for what they are (fantasy indulgence) is actually not something to be ashamed of either... as long as you don't claim that 50 shades books are sophisticated literature.
