@arcadesdude there is no app like that unless you root. Which i am not going to.

@wassy92x i use veeam endpoint backup for backing up all the pc's to my network folder. And the server itself runs that same tool to backup my phones synced folder.
The phone folder is synced with my network folder via SyncMe (note that i had to email the developer for an update that actually allows writing to SD card to enable 2 way sync. Otherwise it can do 1 way sync for backup just fine with the store version!

Recently made a sub 750 euro in home server with raid 1, to back up all pc's laptops and smartphones in the house to. Never been better!
Using a simple little daily backup tool on all pc's, and another app to sync 2 way to my phone, i was able to have all my data safe on that home server.
It even allows me to edit content on my phone which will sync overnight, because of the way usb access is shit on android since.. 5.0?
I am loving it! Worth every penny and week of setup effort.
