At some point bosses should learn to use the "raise hand" and chat features of online meetings... Wondering how many centuries would that take!

This is why I hate socializing meetings on zoom. Online meetings only work if everyone is in a quiet place which is seemingly impossible most of the times. So online meetings become a one way radio like communication and only work for status updates. You must mute yourself after every transmission.

Discussions and any team engagement activities just don't work. Someone tells a joke, and no one laughs, well no one hears anyone laugh. I love working remotely but this really limits the quality of interactions and deteriorates the work environment.
