I hate DRM. Not all of it, but most of it for sure. I ended up sending an email to support of some random DRM crap ware to tell them how much I despise them. I get nothing out of it, but they wasted my time so I might as well waste a bit of theirs with some useless email.

    The fundamental problem with DRM is that it prevents particular technical operations rather than illegal activities. For example, in some countries law permits users to make one copy of digital material they own for backup. In these countries DRM is actually illegal, however it's still used because the giant media groups that actually reap the rewards of copyright instead of creators are essentially above the law.

    I also don't mind DRM that doesn't get in the way, but that's very rare.
