I wanted to see whether Windows 10 is worth my time... Guess not.

Damn that compression, you barely see the text on buttons... Both buttons say "Cancel" in case you can't read them...

    Win10 is objectively awful.
Look elsewhere for a good time.

@Ashkin yup. Between the constant updates, the spying and the shitty business model i think i'll stick to Win7 thank you very much.
I fear the day they'll drop support for it, i'll have to go full linux :/
Is there still many ppl running win7, i feel like a tinfoil for ranting about win10 after all this time....

@Elendil I run Win 7. I dislike a bunch of things with Windows 10 and I don't run Linux because of compatibility. I'd love to, though and I'm always thinking about it, but for now I'm still limited to Windows and, while 7 is not perfect, I still find it far better than 10... Originally tried 10 during the initial developer preview and didn't like it and now installed it again (in a VM) to see how far it's gone and, while it's gone far, I still don't like it, still feels like an unfinished product to me.

@Elendil you're not crazy. It really is a privacy nightmare.

You know what is absolutely sad, I went to bed one night and when I woke up my computer installed win10 despite me doing (at least at the time I thought) was every hack I could find to remove that damn update notification, guess I missed one, I have win10 still but I made it look as close to win7 as I could lol, even went as far as to disabling as much of the win10 stuff, it works I guess :/

@f03n1x really makes you wonder why Microsoft pushed win10 so hard.

My theory is that they make more money from selling mined personal data than from selling their software. Probably lucrative government contracts, too.

That's probably true, I can't see them how they would get would get money aside from things like business subscriptions, their OS isn't something you'd see out of stock too, oh and to add to my frustrations of win10 doing that damn install I couldn't downgrade because on my tiny SSD I didn't have enough room because of the backup they did of all my stuff in the first place. Seemed I could never go back.
