Omg how stupid some people are... Today at my university I used the first time one of the computers in the computer room and there is a portable Firefox installed in a shared space on the computer and that is also where it saved settings etc. So this is the same for every user on that particular computer.

And when I checked the security settings I found that about 10 different accounts were saved and accessible with website username and password.

So of course the shared space Firefox is bad, but you still shouldn't save you password on a public computer :S

PS: If anyone needs a webmail account or an account for the german university network contact me :P

At a school I know they saved there solutions for tests and exames in a public folder. So just one did the work and the smart ones copied it.

German university network sounds interesting. I could propably get a lot of stuff cheaper or even for free with that.

I recently ran into an open Chrome session, the guy had ALL his passwords saved in his Google account and forgot to log out of chrome, so I had access to his Facebook, Amazon, PayPal etc etc.

Fortunately for him I was nice enough to not do anything, but I was tempted to order some pizza with his PayPal login. Or creating an account on redtube with his email address. Or post something weird on his Facebook wall.

    The possibilities are endless...

@ocab19 I would have updated his social media status to something like
"woops, I forgot to log out."
With a pic of a cat facepalming..
    Or something like that :p
