They also have a way to type via stroke order which works a bit like T9. Many native speakers don't know pinyin.

zedchoo2798yChinese here. I type Chinese by just using a typical keyboard with a proper input method. But man, this is ridiculous... lol. Though Chinese is really fucking hard to learn. I myself haven't master it... ._.

@sylflo lol, "world" uses the same characters as in Japanese, ไธ็, though that it means "the world" in general. World is just ไธ. But is is pronounced differently, "sekai" and "yo"

@sylflo looks like you misunderstood me. I do not know Chinese and found it interesting that words share the same meaning too sometimes. I just knew that Japan got their characters from China.

@querellaMMXII those sticks are traditional Chinese chopsticks used for eating steamed meals, called ็ฎธ.
