It has been a loooong time since i have had awesome programming day like today, i've been doing earth simulator kind of game for mobile and lots of its core mechanics are starting to take shape. Still long way to go but it feels great! Days like these remind me why i started programming. I will have to deal with memory management because there will be lots of shit happening on screen not yet sure how to deal with that in corona sdk. Sorry for good feels.

Same feeling I get with game development, for me VR development is so fun despite me having to get and go to the garage where my vive is setup.

Earth simulator? That's freaking awesome! Being a web dev you tend to forget there's so many awesome things a programmer can make!

I'm curious about this Earth simulator. Mind spilling some details about it? Is it like Google Earth? Or somethin like Minecraft?

@rayanon It is a bit minecrafty and 2d. It is more map like(atleast for now) made from blocks. So nothing special there. Player starts with rocky planet and starts to create water with meteorites and atmosphere with volcanoes. Im trying to make it realistic so that it would have weather, seasons, plate tectonics and of course disasters like volcanoes and so on. It is influenced a lot by game from 90s called SimEarth made by Maxxis. It is a bit ambitious we'll see how far i get. :)

Idea is not specially unique but i want to make anyways been lately obsessed with random generated stuff and about "living" systems @SoftDev

@SoftDev sounds epic, would definitely like to play doesn't matter if bugs exist just seems like something fun to play!
