I don't get it... is k8s THAT difficult? In my xp kube-proxy and CNI are the two most difficult things in k8s, but once you get your head around them -- everything else becomes quite obvious.

    Am I missing something?

Rancher runs kubernetes .. which makes rancher more complicated.

Also kubernetes learning is like not learning Linux and bash untill your mid 30's. ( Or so I'm told, I never really used windows ). It's complicated because people try to compare it to things that are either not relatable (rancher), or in a completely different world (like docker swarm), and by doing that they think they can make shortcuts in the learning process and keep on failing over and over again.

Like learning how to ride a bicycle and expect to also be able to fly a 747 afterwards

@netikras well, that's a joke from another person.
I am just going to start learning it today/at current weekends.

I am actually expecting to find it relatively easy perhaps.
Because if people who are far IaC were able to do that, then I am sure I can do it for sure. I believe in myself ;b

@DarkMukke the graph explicitly says "rancher 1.x". I think Kubernetes is an option, but mine is running Docker containers.

Btw, I learned. It is actually quite easy nowadays. The picture was probably valid in the past, when there were no easy means to install kube cluster
