Any tips for a junior dev to get jobs remotely?

Try the freelancer and also Angel list..both are good

I'm adding my 2cents to keep me posted.

@shinoys I've been trying Angellist, but haven't had much success... Yet....

@shinoys My disadvantage is I am physically away from home for a while, so my location isn't US based anymore (for another month or so.) Think that's part of the issue? (Outside of me being a junior with NO real world experience.)

In such a situation, I will say you should try something on freelancer site. Where you can bid different projects.@Kyoton

@shinoys The two advantages of being a freelancer are mobility and the name sounds really cool. The disadvantage is, no benefits. So, you'd have to buy your own deathcare

My server has been blacklisted because of one of my friends has sent out BULK MAIL.

Quick update, some other server in the same /24 subnet has spammet shit, and it resultet in a BL for my mailserver too

There happens to be this github project that lists a lot of good sites where you can freelance or work remotely.
