Yeah the scripting part is awful. Documentation also sucks. Sad that there is no similar tool to compete with it... at least none that I am aware of.

@PepeTheFrog problem with build systems is that they're a bit like religion

your system is the greatest and all others suck. And you only work well with people who use your system.

I wanted to integrate a code generator into a C++ project, and have it automatically reconfigure and rebuild when needed. But no. Even the things documented didn't work so I just gave up and said fuck it you'll have to build and reconfigure 3 times if you want it to work.
