Was asked to do a peer review on a coworker who I barely worked with. When I say barely, it’s like maybe 1 hour out of 8760 hours in a year.

Can I just ask them what to write?

    You probably should not.

But if you really have not worked with them you might ask the ones requesting the peer review why they asked you, explaining the situation.

Maybe anyone that have worked closer is considered biased for some reason.

"based on the hour we worked together, you're doing fine"
