It's insane how much better Firefox handles a shit ton of tabs than Chrome does.

before a year i was into firefox, since it is my preferred browser but since they started collecting data without users knowing and the telemetry policy changed i stopped using it and switched to firefox based browsers such as waterfox && libreworlf i suggest you use these especially waterfox since it helps lot organizing the tabs

Really...? I have no trouble opening 70+ tabs in chrome. Ff, however, takes forever to open 24 tabs. Latest versions of both, but it was like that since... Ever

@netikras Really? My computer struggles after 10-15 tabs or so on Chrome. FF did 30-40 without an issue

Do you mean loading them all at the same time or just opening the browser and letting the tabs load lazily as you use them? Vivaldi handles hundreds of tabs without a problem in the latter case for me.

@zlice well at the end of the day those browsers are fork from the original firefox, which means they have the same issues if found

@zlice A few, not too many

@gemsy As I go, not all at once :)

it’s because browsers became advertising screens instead of information passing software

browser manufacturers don’t offload webpage to disk but keep javascript running for marketing spy software be able to measure your engagement with crap

Isn't Waterfox gecko, before Firefox changed its engine to quantum?
