How many people here consider their profession a large, potentially principal part of their identity as people? How important is it to you that you are known for what you do?

    I started coding at 6... But yes recognition is nice.. Especially to get a good job where you're not mixed in and cleaning up after monkeys...

    But honestly when I'm in the zone, I don't care what others think, I code for myself.
